As Technical Product Manager for Stacks Core, you will drive operational excellence and strategic coordination for the leading Bitcoin Layer 2. You'll bridge Stacks blockchain development with the broader ecosystem and ensure seamless and proactive communication across all stakeholders as we build the foundation for a user-owned internet on Bitcoin.

We're looking for someone who can translate complex core development into clear roadmaps, coordinate releases flawlessly, and ensure our ecosystem partners stay informed and aligned. As our TPM for Stacks Core, you'll gather signal from builders, shape prioritization decisions, and champion a product roadmap that balances core protocol development with ecosystem needs.

You'll work directly with our Core Senior Engineering Manager, CTO, Head of Product, DevRel, and Marketing teams to create exceptional core blockchain visibility for our ecosystem. This is a rare opportunity to be on the ground floor, defining the operational playbook for one of crypto's most technically ambitious projects at the intersection of Bitcoin and Web3 innovation.

Outcomes You'll Drive

• Smooth, efficient, and consistent Core releases - every core release has a pre-announce, RC/test plan, and partner comms that flow flawlessly, with no surprises for downstream users.
• Breaking changes land without surprises - migration guides, timelines, and targeted outreach prepare builders and exchanges before the release drops.
• Clear, proactive, and transparent comms - legible core roadmaps, weekly notes, and live adoption dashboards so stakeholders never need to “ask around” to know what’s happening.
• Strong SDLC loop - builder and partner feedback are captured, triaged, and routed with clear ownership between TPM (adoption/comms) and EM (prioritization/fixes).
• External stakeholder partnerships - builder feedback and community signal directly inform prioritization decisions, with clear rationale communicated back to the community.

What We're Looking For

• Deep Bitcoin & L2 Technical Fluency - You need to be deeply knowledgeable about Bitcoin technology and L2 architectures. You've worked with blockchain protocols before. Ideally, you're already familiar with Stacks, but at minimum you can confidently participate in discussions about core feature implementations, consensus mechanisms, and blockchain architecture.
• Exceptional Communication & Translation Skills - You have a proven track record of translating between highly technical teams and diverse groups of stakeholders. You’re comfortable in executive-level conversations with key technical and business partners. Your technical writing is clear and precise, and you can craft, present, and explain complex roadmaps and features to everyone from core developers to ecosystem partners.
• Strong Technical + PM Foundation - You bring 5+ years of technical product management experience (or equivalent, prior TPM title not required), with a demonstrated history of bringing high-impact, deeply technical features to market via skillful initiative management in complex technical environments.
• Product Sense & Prioritization Skills - You can synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholder groups, identify patterns in ecosystem feedback, and work with engineering to shape a roadmap that balances technical debt, new features, and community needs. You understand how to make good prioritization and roadmap trade-offs and can bring others along with your reasoning.
• Dev Tools Proficiency - You understand GitHub workflows, can read and comprehend some code, and know how to interface with developers independently for Q&A.
• Strategic & Tactical Range - You can zoom out to propose long-term technical strategy while also diving deep into GitHub boards for daily updates and release coordination. You're equally comfortable triaging issues with developers and crafting a breaking change announcement for stakeholders.
